Volunteers come out every month to clean up designated streets and public areas, providing a much-needed service for local residents. The project is funded by donations and grants, which are used to provide supplies and materials for the volunteers

Thanks Giving Event
The Nelson Community Aid Thanksgiving event is an annual event that celebrates the importance of giving back to those in need. From food drives to clothing donations, there’s something for everyone at this special event. We hope you’ll join us in celebrating the spirit of thanksgiving while making a positive difference in our community!
Feeding Program with Volunteers
Through their food pantry, they distribute ready to eat food to individuals and families who are struggling with food insecurity. They also provide hot meals and snack packs for children and adults at risk of going hungry. The volunteers also provide cooking demonstrations and nutrition education to empower community members to make healthy choices. Nelson Community Aid is dedicated to making sure everyone in the community has access to nutritious food.
